I've gone to movies that didn't look good and weren't good. What is it that makes people do that?

This actually happened to me although it was GI Joe: The Movie.

I've felt like that after more than a few movies.

I almost feel bad about pirating movies

When Napster first came out, I thought it was the coolest thing to get all the free music one wanted. Then Apple figured out how to create an honest system with consumers still having convenient access to a giant library and those creating the music to still get paid, and I actually find that route better. Like Steve Jobs said, good karma.

Your sacrifice just won't be noticed

I think back to how many times I've gone out of my way to help someone else and make their project or dream or duty happen and to get nothing in return for it, not even a thank you. But then I have to ask myself if that's what I really did it for.

A typical science fiction film

I love science fiction films, books, stories -- pretty much everything. But there's a lot of bad, cheesy, and otherwise unwatchable scifi out there. It's a shame, because it gives the good stuff a bad name.
